When would my periods start while on birthcontrol, and how long are the periods?

Ok, so I’m going to be taking the shot that I have to get every 13 weeks? I wanna know when my first period would come and how long it will last.

Would it take a month or two before I get my period again?

How long would my period last once I get it? 4-5 days like the usual, or 14-20 days?

    Your first period may come toward the end of the first shot, but it can take about a month or two for the period to come again because the body is trying to adjust to the medication.
